South Africa’s unemployment rate is at an all-time high, leaving millions of South Africans going hungry every night.
There are many misconceptions about why someone may be unemployed. The best way to combat a lack of knowledge around a subject and bring awareness to social issues is to talk about it more.
In honor of World Hunger Month four people from all different walks of life will share their story throughout October through Yuppiechief. Yuppiechef is known for selling high-quality goods, and this would be no different, except it would be created by these four people and their communities. This allows four communities to gain a skill, earn profit from the campaign, and share their story with people who may not have known about the struggles of unemployment and/or the hunger crisis in South Africa.
